We were previously known as the Medically Oriented Gym (MOG) which opened in 2011.
As of January 2020, we are PAXFITNESS Rx! We are the same local-owned, trustworthy and educated gym facility but with a NEW name and a NEW look to bring in the new century!

MEET THE PAXFITNESS RX TEAM
Chris is the Manager here at PAXFITNESS Rx, additionally he is an Exercise Physiologist which allows him to work with healthy individuals as well as those with medically controlled diseases. Chris has been working out of Physical Therapy clinics since he graduated from Salisbury University in 2015 as a Personal Trainer. Chris uses his B.S. in Exercise Science to work with individuals that other trainers avoid or shy away from as he believes every condition can be worked with or around to avoid further injury. On his time off Chris enjoys cooking, fishing the local waters, and engaging in any outdoor physical activity.
Scottie Morris is a PAXFITNESS Rx Exercise Specialist. Scottie has been providing training in the St. Marys area for over 15 years. In that time she has helped change the lives of over 2000 clients. Scottie is an exuberant and passionate trainer. She provides the motivation needed for you to complete your routine, even if that means working out with you. Scottie is willing to work with any client and has the experience to get you to your goal. When she is not training she is working towards her goal to become a Paramedic and spend time with her children.
Chris S | Exercise Specialist
Chris is a PAXFITNESS Rx Exercise Specialist. Chris has worked at other gyms and assisted members in the St. Mary’s area for more than 7 years. Over the past 15 years he has tried and tested many workout routines and found strength training and building muscle to be his favorite. Chris believes, with a little dedication, anyone can reach their goals. Chris enjoys working with any and all clients as long as they have a goal and mind and can put in the work to achieve it. He likes spending his free time with friends, reading, and enjoying outdoor activities. One day Chris would like to have a gym of his own and provide some of the best training in the area.
Rylan is an Exercise Physiologist at PaxFitnessRx. She graduated with her B.S. in Exercise Science from Florida Gulf Coast University in May 2020. She grew up playing soccer and tore her ACL the summer before her sophomore year of high school - putting her out for a whole season. After completing her Physical Therapy, she worked hard at the gym to regain her strength to be able to play on the field again. She has personally seen how cardiovascular and strength training can help in the recovery process of an injury, and uses that experience to help motivate her clients. She is willing to work with all types of clients along their fitness journey, but especially has a heart for cardiac patients and individuals who are new to working out. In her free time, Rylan enjoys practicing modern and copperplate calligraphy, and going to the beach with friends.
